The Midnight Special is a Danish country rock band, formed in 2019. The band today consists of vocalist and guitarist Kasper Schultz, vocalist Eva Elkjær Lykke, guitarist Jakob William Nielsen, bassist Rasmus Bruun and drummer Jeppe Birkebæk. The band’s self-titled debut album was released in 2021.
The band has played several music festivals and club gigs in Denmark, Sweden and Germany and has established itself as a part of the country music scene in Denmark and Scandinavia. Characterized by a fusion of rock, country and folk, the band plays shows with a high level of intensity and integrity.
