The Miners

We’re The Miners, from Belo Horizonte, Brazil — our name is a tribute to our state, Minas Gerais. We started in 2022 as a cover band playing indie rock and indie pop, performing songs by bands like Two Door Cinema Club, The Killers, The Strokes, MGMT, Foster The People, and more. Over time, we gained recognition in the local music scene and helped grow the indie movement in our city. In 2025, after playing over 100 shows, we began writing and releasing our own original music. Our sound reflects identity and authenticity — from raw indie rock to more electronic indie pop. Independently recorded, our debut single is Sunburn, a danceable indie rock track with striking riffs and an explosive chorus. It’s about toxic relationships — the ones that hurt but are hard to walk away from.
