The ambitious power trio The Mint Freaks was founded by singer-guitarist-songwriter Timo Pääkkö, whose musical history covers a wide range of styles. His partners in crime are the multi-instrumentalist Teemu Niemelä, and the drummer Kalle Aalto. This time new dimensions are sought in the fluent, longer songs, where members’ diverse solo skills are honored. The keywords are British-style psychedelia and Progressive rock, and the band also easily tackles tasty Glam-rock. So, a decent classic Retro-rock placement with all the spices is in store!
