The Mirror Ball Test are a 7-piece band finding a home in Manchester, England.
Drawing influences from across the musical spectrum, we play ambient and intricate instrumental pieces collaborated on and brought to life by Ali Craig on guitar, Ben Price on bass, Ruben Milner-Edwards on drums, Liviu Gheorghe on keys, Aaron Wood on trumpet, Jimmy Stuttard on tenor sax, and Josh Poole on alto sax.
Formed in 2017, The Mirror Ball Test is a collaborative project taking compositions and arrangements by guitarist Ali Craig, and bringing them to life with the talents of some of Manchester's finest musicians. The music is an exploration of the world through psychedelic interpretations, and grounded in melodic and layered soundtracks. We have always aimed to include a strong visual element with our music, and work with artists such as Sølar, Hippiezilla and more around the UK
