Formed in October 2016, A group of 4 individuals from different corners of Indonesia bring together the nuances of folk music, Based in Bali. originally starting with 2 main players, Joe (vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica) & Aweng (banjo, acoustic guitar & electric guitar). Later In 2021 Firdaus (percussion) & Hedi (violin) joined The band which has allowed their music to elevate with new flair and demonstrate an alternative take on folk. The Munchies expresses the message through their music, Embracing happiness and positivity paves the way to move forward, bringing a peace of mind along the journey.
