In a world that seemingly grows darker by the hour, truth and light become rare, but much needed commodities. The new album 'Antidote' doesn't deny or ignore the darkness, but sheds a light on it from outside and within.

This album Antidote is dedicated to depression awareness. Singer/guitarist, Xander 'Nax' Stok, of The New Shining has witnessed the battle first hand. Having dealt with over 20 years of depression, he understands what it takes to keep a firm footing in this darkness. Music, whether it's writing or making it, has always been his medicine to keep sane amidst increasing insanity.

His passionate dedication to give a voice to the invisibles, the people living with a mental illness, leads him to writing albums such as Antidote. Songs of comfort and pain, hope and defeat, truth and deceit, struggle and victory, Light and darkness, poison and Antidote.
