With one foot rooted in the psychedelic rock of the 1960s British Invasion and the other in the visceral blues and jam-band spirit of the continental United States, The Nightstands are a Metro Detroit-based garage rock band with a vast scope of inspirations courtesy of their diverse tastes and fertile local live music scene. The power trio consists of Nathan Ritz (guitar, lead vocals), Cael Tanner (harmonica, bass guitar, organ, backing vocals), and Connor Woolf (saxophone, drums, percussion, backing vocals). The Nightstands released their debut album, “In Carnations”, on March 7, 2021, on their own independent label, Percolator Records.
