The Nordic Act is a synthpopband from Sweden. They released their debut single ”I hate it but I love it” in 2019. The band consists of Andreas Andersson keyboards and synths and singer Linnéa Törnqvist. They’ve worked together with different music projects for several years but never before as a band. After making a remix of one of Linnéas songs they decided to start the synth-based duo The Nordic Act.
Their music has influences from modern electrosynthpop and refers to music from the eighties. Melodic synth lines and melodies are mixed with lyrics that are poetic with references to ”everyday life”.
