The Not So Friendlies is a Salt Lake City based band with shoegaze and indie rock influences. It consists of co-writers/guitarists/vocalists Haven Johansen and Eoghan Knibbe, bassist Luke Bamford, and drummer Elliot Emery. The project began as a moody acoustic duo between Haven and Eoghan in 2016. After a year of writing, it transformed into a full band. The Not So Friendlies released their first album, titled "Cinema Daze," in September of 2018. It is a love letter to home. The seven songs are based off of the experiences that Eoghan and Haven have had as two people, very much in love, growing up in the counterculture of Salt Lake City. The album was engineered by Cameron Zitting.
