On a sunny spring Sunday in 1967, The New Outlook (Paul Levinson, Stu Nitekman, and Ira Margolis) were singing in Central Park in NYC (here are some of the songs they were singing https://open.spotify.com/album/72f84g80PkB6hJoq8CHEPP?si=4WkuMOVZSuWQlTpC-lCBnw ). Ellie Greenwich & Mike Rashkow happened by, liked what they heard, and got the group signed to Atlantic Records, changing the name of the group to The Other Voices. The trio had two single releases. Paul co-wrote the B-side to both singles, “Hung Up on Love,” with Mikie Harris. The recording was included in Rhino-Handmade’s compilation album, “Come to the Sunshine: Soft Pop Nuggets,” in 2004, compiled by Andrew Sandoval.
