Soulful, bluesy, fluid guitar, with heartfelt songwriting and vocals. Patti Spadaro and band have an organic feel and love to spread around good vibes. They enjoy improvising, stretching out during live shows, reaching for musical magic.
Patti's new single "Glass Shatters" is out now. It’s about women’s empowerment, our first woman VP, and breaking glass ceilings everywhere. 5 women singers & instrumentalists join together in the song.
Growing up in PA, Patti discovered electric guitar & learned riffs from her guitar heroes including The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers & Stevie Ray Vaughn. Patti moved to California to attend Musician's Institute in Hollywood. She was one of 3 women among about 700 male guitar students. She released 3 CDs with bands, performing & recording in LA and touring nationally. Vocal influences Natalie Merchant, Sara Bareilles, Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi mix with a love of jam-bands and bluesy, soulful guitar work.
Patti's roots were calling - she moved to the Pittsburgh area, had 2 kids and released 2 more albums.
"Bringing Me Back" features drummers Eric Kurtzrock & Jim Donovan (Rusted Root), Jill Simmons singing harmony (Brown Eyed Women) and keyboardist Skip Sanders (Bill Deasy, The Clarks).
Patti's currently recording new songs and performing in the PA area. She also teaches college courses in yoga, meditation and Mindfulness in Music, and leads Kirtan music events. She loves to play music from a centered & present space.
