The Pendings

In the studio, The Pendings is the collaborative music project of Jack Shaw and Christian Bourque. They got together in December 2021 to create an EP, and in October 2022, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:24rZ63RXKGKATVEGuNaH00" data-name="The Fifth September">The Fifth September</a>&#34; was released. The next year and a half were spent writing what would become their debut album.

<a href="spotify:album:0IitTWA4gUrrZHjKAxlLCu" data-name="Be All - End All">Be All - End All</a> is a product of everything. Composed of songs written all throughout the 4 momentous years leading up its release, it&#39;s a complete expression of life lived by Jack and Christian.

The sound of the album is built on a foundation of indie and art rock, with flourishes of other genres from song to song, like the post-punk of the lead single <a href="spotify:track:2ZSE4lYk3EWSm7bqj0xcVe" data-name="Scapegoat">Scapegoat</a> , or the dream pop of <a href="spotify:album:7Gmp6hmk5F8FiuoYgnghn2" data-name="Make It Up to You">Make It Up to You</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:5abtCQ7ezRfgGC0U1VaRbI" data-name="Valérie Bouchard">Valérie Bouchard</a>&#39;s second collaboration with The Pendings. The aspects of jazz fusion from their first EP, The Fifth September, return in songs like Five Thousand Kilometres and closer More Than Enough, along with a new found element of progressive rock on tracks like We&#39;re Haunted Here and the title track.
