Louisville, KY indie rockers the Pennies were led by singer/guitarist Jeremy Podgursky, former frontman of local acts Dybbuk and Lather. With fellow University of Louisville students Dave Walker (guitar), Dave Kuhbander (bass) and Gary Claude (drums), he formed the group in 1996, soon after releasing their debut single "Neptune Drive; " an EP, Decorate the Atomic Art, followed a year later, and in 1999 the Pennies issued the full-length Come, We Go. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
