The Piano Room is a singer songwriter duo from Texas. Adam was the former lead singer and full contact keyboardist of Pop band A Formal Affair. After they stopped playing in late 2011, Adam committed full time for a new album under the moniker The Piano Room. A different direction of music emphasizing intricate harmonies, melodic piano, and catchy choruses. A slight departure from the signature Pop punk influences of Something Corporate and Brand New; The Piano Room embraces a different set of influences ranging from Bon Iver, Jaime Cullum, Bruce Hornsby, Journey, Collective Soul, The Fray, Ben Rector, and Fleetwood Mac. Adam and Ayrian Norman performed as The Piano Room on and off for a couple of years until Lindsay (Adam’s wife) joined in early 2016 and has performed ever since. The duo didn’t play for several years due to a multitude of challenges, but the duo are now poised for the release of up to 15 new songs over the 2024 year.
