The P.M. Band originated in Cranston, RI in 1999. Paul Parravano (lyricist/vocalist) and Michael Scudieri (guitarist/bassist) began writing songs together and performing in the RI/MA area. Their influences span throughout the decades. Paul's main influences emerged from the ska-punk era bands such as No Doubt, 311, Less Than Jake, Sublime, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and into the emo era of Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Brand New and Anberlin. Michael's influences range from The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, through the 90's grunge/rock bands of Stone Temple Pilots, Tool, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam. Through Paul's effective storytelling and Michael's powerful riffs, you'll find yourself thinking back to your most memorable summer day, trip down the coast, first kiss, first love, first heartbreak or first loss. Here, you will find the beautiful balance, vibrance and fusions of genres that shaped the late 90's/early 00's. With the release of their first full length album, Forevermore, in 2022, Paul aims to continue creating new music and promoting that passion in others. When not creating music, he is also involved in animal rescue and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
