The Polar Tree is a Barcelona-based Post-Punk group consisting of Alex Robles (Guitar + Backing Vocals), Marcos Gimeno (Guitar), and Ricard Fusté (Bass/Drums + Lead Vocals). With a sound characterized by dark undertones and razor-sharp guitars, the band blends influences from the 80s and 90s with elements from the contemporary music scene, yet maintaining a distinctive essence born from the diverse musical backgrounds each member has absorbed throughout their lives.
Having previously played together in other formations, the band's shared musical history adds a sense of camaraderie to their performances, contributing to the strength of their current project. The Polar Tree has released two singles so far, namely "Iceberg on Flames" and "Fragments of Us." Currently, they are diligently crafting new tracks, aiming to present a third body of work later this year that promises to captivate and engage listeners.
