The Provincial Archive is an indie-something power-trio from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that has pretty much been killing it since forever.
The band started quiet, but got loud over the last decade-and-a-bit, and we really haven’t thought much about quitting or anything… Some of the words that we’ve written in our own bio over the last-forever have been “messy guitars”, “fuzzy vocal hooks” and “1994-1996”. In the earlier times we also used words like “haphazard folk orchestra”. So, for better or worse, that about sums it up musically.
But all of that stuff is just kind of dumb, because doesn’t your body replace itself every 7 years? Our new songs are always the best and we like to play them. We hope to see you around.
