We're a small town band just out to make some good tunes. We started up as soon as college hit and everything fell into place with a catfish cover even though Aaron had had to hold up Jay’s bass drum because it kept slipping. From there we just wrote in our home studio and experimented with what worked and eventually leading up to gigging in places like the Brewhouse in Colchester and Bestdays Vintage. Jake and Max started the band back in year 9 and since then have experimented with all kinds of instruments like clarinets and mellotrons. Even though they don't show up in our music we keep trying to find ways to make something sound familiar yet a little different. We're always trying to create an exciting sound with a vibe that strikes the sole rock feel in us and the people you listen to our music.
Our influences usually come from a collection of our favorite artists such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Pink Floyd, Muse and Arctic Monkeys. Other artists include Declan McKenna, Bon Iver, The Magic Gang, and The Wombats
