The Quality rose from the ashes of earlier Portland bands that perished in the heat of rock music’s flame. Tempered by the raw power of fire, The Quality came out harder, hotter, and sexier than ever with a new edge that cuts through the kevlar of complacency and dumps acid on the status quo. Blending riotous noises of their youth heroes with modern sonic soundscapes, The Quality produce music that tips a hat to past legends such as Iggy Pop, Pixies, and Nirvana, with an added twist of the new millennium and all the chaos of today’s increasingly trembling world.
