The Quinces

Based in Porto, the band formed after lockdown when João Moraes invited Rui Rodrigues and Lucas Barbosa to jam classic rock on weekends. They soon posted online looking for a bassist, and their old friend Diogo Silva joined the still-unnamed band. To gain stage experience, they created a Beatles tribute called Fools on the Hill. In 2024, The Quinces were born with the single "Lipstick", winning a contest that led to a slot at Queima das Fitas do Porto. Their debut album, "301" Greatest Hits, blends rock, blues, indie and funk into a sound that’s nostalgic yet full of originality.

Pouco depois, publicaram um anúncio e Diogo Silva juntou-se ao grupo — ainda sem nome. Para ganhar experiência em palco, criaram uma banda de tributo aos Beatles: Fools on the Hill.
