The Ghent-based post-punk band The Rats storms through the underground as befits proper vermin, but also manages to stir it up on larger stages. In iconic venues like Botanique, Trix, and Concertzaal De Vooruit, they opened for Hotel Lux, The Mary Wallopers, and the legendary Public Image Ltd. (PiL). Recently, The Rats made it to the semi-finals of Humo’s Rock Rally 2024, Belgium’s most notable music contest.
"Disco To Disco", their debut EP, is set to be released in the fall of 2024 and was recorded at Hightime Studio by Thomas Valkiers (Meltheads, Equal Idiots, RONKER).
