The Red Folks

The Red Folks est un trio d'indie-folk parisien. C'est autour des musiques de tradition anglo-saxonne, celte et irlandaise qu'ils trouvent un terrain d'entente musical.
Delphine (chant et harmonium indien), Cyrille (guitares 6 et 12 cordes, percussions, choeurs) et Maëlise (violoncelle, percussions, choeurs) jouent une musique fédératrice et vibrante.
Les contes (tales) et les errances (wanderings) qui ont donné leur nom à leur 1er album, sont une promesse d'invitation au voyage. Mais ne vous y trompez pas. Si la musique irlandaise, la folk-music traditionnelle, est leur source d'inspiration première, point d'introspection au pays des fées ici. Ce sont bien les émotions humaines, dans toute leur complexité, qui les inspirent.

The Red Folks are a Parisian indie-folk trio.
All three musicians are gathered around their love for English, American, Irish and Celtic music.
Delphine (lead voice, Indian harmonium), Cyrille (6 and 12-string guitar, percussion, back vocals)
and Maëlise (cello, percussion, back vocals) play a unifying and vibrant music.
The tales and the wanderings that gave their names to this first recording is an invitation to a
journey and to a dream.
But don't get it wrong, even if Irish and folk music are their main influence, this is no fairy land
introspection. What inspires them are the human emotions in all their diverse and complex ways.
