Husband and wife duo The Remedy Club, comprising Kj McEvoy and Aileen Mythen have been described as ‘Ireland’s best kept musical secret’ by Hotpress Magazine. Their first two albums Lovers, Legends and Lost Causes and True Hand True Heart were independently released by the duo to great critical acclaim in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US - ‘’My new favourite duo of all time (ROCKING MAGPIE, UK), ‘Outstanding’ (NO DEPRESSION, US). Their sophomore album True Hand True Heart was recorded in Room and Board studios, Nashville and produced by 5 - time Grammy award winner Ray Kennedy (Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow).
 
The Remedy Club have just completed their third, as yet untitled, album which sees them
broadening their scope in terms of direction. While retaining their Americana and roots sound the music also incorporates soul, pop and old school r & b with stunning brass and string arrangements by Liam Bates (Texas) and Michael Buckley (Van Morrison) and features an array of stalwarts including Aongus Ralston on bass (The Waterboys).
