A handful of reject space cadets from Northampton, England, Earth.
The band were formed in 2002 by Charlie Wood, Jo Collis, Joshua Ryan and Robert Nesbitt. Their debut album <a href="spotify:album:2ecddnsTBjVVuVGHyuveOk" data-name="I Know Who You Are But What Am I?">I Know Who You Are But What Am I?</a> (which is riddled with spelling mistakes thanks to whoever uploaded it, even the album title is wrong!) – an enthusiastic romp through two minute pop songs was released on Kooky Discs in 2006, followed by an EP dedicated to the late great Richard Whitely entitled <a href="spotify:album:0ENHmzhOjBT7VkBIqtfUUx" data-name="Vowel Play">Vowel Play</a> which led to performances alongside gigging comrades <a href="spotify:artist:2p7b58GewtdBTYCJmg9gJ8" data-name="Bearsuit">Bearsuit</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:28GvgxNCF9zPFQ4FHU8tYk" data-name="Misty's Big Adventure">Misty's Big Adventure</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7Bc71APQFDwBuhFgyq617o" data-name="Das Wanderlust">Das Wanderlust</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:07WifuibSBym9x641OcLtD" data-name="Applicants">Applicants</a> and more!
After a few years of inactivity they came back with a meagre vengeance, this time joined by Joe Brown, and self released their second album <a href="spotify:album:0vIRaj39NrXN9CYepvNDVR" data-name="Meagre Vengeance">Meagre Vengeance</a> in 2014.
They’ve starred alongside Noddy Holder in the video for <a href="spotify:artist:28GvgxNCF9zPFQ4FHU8tYk" data-name="Misty's Big Adventure">Misty's Big Adventure</a>’s ironic hit <a href="spotify:album:6LVCb2EOnFpooUMc8xLu9p" data-name="Fashion Parade">Fashion Parade</a>, were briefly the backing band for legendary graphic novelist <a href="spotify:artist:1Kr4xOGy7poKcCbqFIG4Tp" data-name="Alan Moore">Alan Moore</a> and the first 10 seconds of <a href="spotify:track:5Yo5bSXBDXnSTBUzBmIkCm" data-name="Here We Go">Here We Go</a> can be heard on episode 4 of James Acaster’s Repertoire.
Charlie is currently making wonky bedroom pop as <a href="spotify:artist:5AJBE0BWUoyktMip6Wep8e" data-name="Chargr">Chargr</a>, Joshua and Joe are melting faces in 72% and Jo is doing her dreamy indie thing in <a href="spotify:artist:5kDju25N2z7DvucyT3q0z1" data-name="Big Loss">Big Loss</a>.
