The Ringing (Stuart Galloway, Sean Kenny) is a Vancouver, Canada-based Dark Noise band that combines Modular Synthesizers, Post-Punk guitars, Studio Experiments, Noise Walls and Art-Punk influences.
Our first single “Drone in Pain Major is a simmering, terse and tense blast of modular synth and guitar fuzz that leaves you wanting to head back down with the sewer-dwellers who are ready for an uprising”.
Our second single, Today is a Beam, was released on April 20, 2022. “Today is a Beam is clangorous in all the right ways. Industrial drums, late-night basslines, drilling guitar, and vocals that leave you with a sense of off-kilter vulnerability.”
The Room is the 3rd single from electro-industrial post punk band, The Ringing coming out August 22, 2024. The Room batters you in a whiplash fervor. The drums enter the room as if violently stumbling around, careening from one wall to the next. Synths gurgle in the background like they’ll start a fire. Guitars burst in and out of the centre like a rude house guest, and Stuart Galloway’s vocals form the haunted bones of The Room. For fans of Sonic Youth, Protomartyr, METZ.
