The Riot is an alternative rock band hailing from Central Pennsylvania, known for mixing their pop-punk sound with their punk rock roots. Initially comprised of members Ryan Henderson (lead vocals/guitar), Jonathan Fye (lead guitar), Brad Henderson (bass guitar), and Ryan Williams (drums) they recorded and released their introductory E.P. “Sitting Duck Syndrome” in 2010. With the release of their full-length debut album “Animation” in 2014, The Riot honed their sound and earned their identity in the music industry.
After the loss of their guitarist, they quickly recruited local musician Lee Fenstamaker before embarking on a 5 year hiatus. In 2019 they reformed, solidifying their lineup by adding lead guitarist (Nathan Spangler) and returned to the live music scene. In May of 2023 they went back to Atrium Audio to record and eventually release the brand new singles "Bottomless" in July and followed by “Unraveling” later that September.
