The Rowdy Gents are a rockabilly band that formed in February of 2021 in Minneapolis, MN through the love of early rock & roll and a series of lucky Craigslist inquiries. The original lineup of the band consisted of singer/guitarist, Kody Gerard, bassist/harmonicist, Nolan Larson, and drummer, Kellan Pontarolo in which they recorded and released singles (‘Til Then) I’ll Be Blue/My Babe and Five More Days/You Did Me Right in April of 2022. In June of 2022, Pontarolo left the band and was soon replaced by Jake Pomasl. The band later released their first full album, Old Fashioned Love Songs in December of 2023. The Rowdy Gents pull inspiration from the classic artists of the 1950's to deliver a fun, entertaining sound that you can't help but dance to.
