The Salinger *Not Our Songs Cover Series

SALINGER SONGS is an activist music publishing fund oriented towards the needs of writers and artists. With a focus on emerging and/or undervalued talent, as well as unconventional creative opportunities, Salinger has assembled an eclectic catalogue of evocative material as unique and compelling as the creators behind the music.

The Salinger (*not our) Songs Cover Series features a number of rising artists (either writers for Salinger Songs Music Publishing or members of our extended community) performing iconic songs ranging from classics to current hits. The motivation behind each cover varies - in many instances though, the original artist is an inspiration, a friend or early champion of the featured artist - and the new arrangement serves as a “thank you” from one artist to the other.

With more than 40 songs forthcoming and a new video released weekly there is a steady stream of new-but-familiar content in the pipeline. It is also our hope that these covers lead listeners back to original content by the featured artists - as remarkable as the material they cover here.
