For nearly a decade, The Scarring Party performed tuba, accordion and banjo driven end time music that drew on disparate influences, 20’s & 30’s music hall, folkways recordings, pre-bepop jazz and 70’s punk. They were as well-known for their vaudevillian aesthetic as their macabre character sketches and unorthodox sound. The band released its final album End Times in 2016.
