The Shoegaze/Neo-Psychedelic solo project of <a href="spotify:artist:12nK7jxKTQWoquXNhxh4sp" data-name="Hellevator">Hellevator</a> guitarist/vocalist Joe Phillips, <a href="spotify:artist:6KepvRr9xvnYU1FcmrKilk" data-name="The Screaming Glasses">The Screaming Glasses</a> started to release music in the summer on 2022, with <a href="spotify:album:6WMMOdf3ZxajrtYActFBW6" data-name="Crimson Sand Ignites">Crimson Sand Ignites</a>, made using only microtonal guitars inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:6XYvaoDGE0VmRt83Jss9Sn" data-name="King Gizzard &amp; The Lizard Wizard">King Gizzard &amp; The Lizard Wizard</a>&#39;s microtonal work, and influenced by the sound and style of early <a href="spotify:artist:2jK54ZlZhTF1TxygsVeR05" data-name="Hawkwind">Hawkwind</a>.

Only a month after the album release the next single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:6rR6A9RwAhYSb1YfHnEGKp" data-name="Nothing Will Help">Nothing Will Help</a>&#34; was released, then only a month later &#34;<a href="spotify:album:04ZNeaUNGT1Y2QrhSJfXd2" data-name="Everything Would Be Okay">Everything Would Be Okay</a>&#34; ; both for the new upcoming album &#34;<a href="spotify:album:1slQTVLNuSXM4O3uNbuY7S" data-name="The Corridor">The Corridor</a>&#34;, released on the 24th February 2023, heavily influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:4Z8W4fKeB5YxbusRsdQVPb" data-name="Radiohead">Radiohead</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:72X6FHxaShda0XeQw3vbeF" data-name="Slowdive">Slowdive</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4HLWX9kzfraiCsTvrxJEXm" data-name="The Chameleons">The Chameleons</a>. The day before announcing the album&#39;s release a short video was released titled &#34;(outro)&#34;, an alternative version of &#34;<a href="spotify:album:04ZNeaUNGT1Y2QrhSJfXd2" data-name="Everything Would Be Okay">Everything Would Be Okay</a>&#34;.

A third album was announced to be in the process of recording around May 2023, before the first single, &#34;<a href="spotify:track:4IWE5TiwwblchE0sUqaSc3" data-name="For You (I&#39;ll Wait)">For You (I&#39;ll Wait)</a>&#34; was released at the end of August, with the B-side version being played on BBC Introducing Solent. Around a month later the third album &#34;<a href="spotify:album:3rLEqEq7CXU7KviSjYj4Am" data-name="Candlelit Mealdeal">Candlelit Mealdeal</a>&#34; was announced with a release date of 31st October, followed by the second single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:7nYxd5iw8fhVtotJl3DHuq" data-name="A Creak Of The Floorboards">A Creak Of The Floorboards</a>&#34;.

In early 2024, it was announced that the 4th album had been recorded and is expected to be released by the summer.
