The Seamonsters are an indie pop band from Sheffield, driven by ethereal vocals and 80s inspired synths. Inspired by the likes of Pulp, Altered Images and Orange Juice, The Seamonsters have spent their recent summers playing festivals up and down the country and planning various self-promoted tours.
Receiving support from BBC Introducing, Radio X and Pirate Studios, The Seamonsters have grown their fanbase over the years, being noted as “2019 ones to watch” by This Feeling. Their latest release “How to be Famous” is a bold social commentary on the digital age, tackling the modern obsession with social media and the damage it causes.
The Seamonsters have recently appeared alongside Jimmy Eat World, Hinds, The Undertones, Kate Nash, Bill Ryder-Jones and Drenge.
