The Seeker

The Seeker is a recording project by independent artists Daryl Ropp and Joe Purrenhage. The music has roots in classic rock bands of the '60s and '70s with strong melodic content developed into modern songs from acoustic pop to classic rock.

The project has self-produced over 10 albums since forming in 1997 following their work together in the Detroit based band <a href="spotify:album:58cCkbPwB5oghEn3qTTq1y" data-name="Earthbound">Earthbound</a>

Daryl records primarily at his home studio Third Floor Records and plays guitar, bass, dulcimer and drum programming. Daryl is also the primary vocalist for the project.

Joe records primarily at his home studio Online Bands Music and plays guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and occasionally provides background vocals.
