When they were both new to Los Angeles, Andrew Stein met <a href="spotify:artist:2c34ZzVmfwzsNHc05x3uzR" data-name="Mike Krol">Mike Krol</a> at the Edendale bar. A fast friendship would lead to forming The Sharp Medicine with Andrew handling vocals and guitar, Mike playing drums and Francis Capone on bass. Their record, "45 Revolutions Per-Minute" would become a WFMU mainstay. Mike would go on to pursue a solo career while Andrew now releases music as <a href="spotify:artist:60qqGuGIS5VMlqw1et2erC" data-name="Mac Rae">Mac Rae</a> (though "Like a Pet" is technically a solo effort by Andrew). 7" copies of "45 Revolutions Per-Minute" are available on Bandcamp, along with a few additional Sharp Medicine tracks: https://sharpmedicine.bandcamp.com
