We’re the sharp stars, an all girl riot-grrrl metal band based in Louisville, Ky. We want revolution! Our goal is to bring more awareness to the ongoing inequality and unfair treatment of women in the music industry while shining light on real world problems that occur frequently throughout women’s lives. Constantly, we are degraded and shamed for the clothing we wear, the music we make, the genres we play, and our overall image in the scene.
