The Shells is an indie rock trio residing in Zwolle, the Netherlands. They fully embody their no nonsense, hands-on approach when it comes to making music. The group consists of singer/guitarist Milo Groenhuijzen, bass player Wouter Hidding and drummer Sjoerd de Vries. Their complex and sometimes dreamy alternative rock often takes unexpected turns, both rhythmically and harmonically, but The Shells always confidently lead you back to the essence, the songwriting. 2024 will mark the year of their debut album, with a first single release in May.
