The Sideways have since their humble beginnings in 2010 grown from throwing punches in all directions with their introverted takes on acclaimed influences to manifesting their position as mature and unique songwriters in the Norwegian alt-rock flora. A string of self-released records have led critics across the entire universe to hail them as unifiers of the sore + meek and cascades of fuzz + walls of noise as well as being conveyors of perfect jangly power pop. The core of the band consists of brothers Øystein and Jan Tore Megård and Brage Kristian Einum, augmented with Viktor Stavrum and Knut Finsaas-Kleiberg for live shows.
