The Silver Dragons are back with their new EP 'The Real Thing' showcasing a tougher rock sound after a major lineup change at the beginning of the year. With drummer Michelle and her partner Dwayne departing for personal reasons, and Graham 'Hoody' Hood dedicating more time to his side-project, The Johnnys, it looked like the end of the road for The Silver Dragons, but lead singer/guitarist Anton pushed on, taking the opportunity to write a fresh batch of songs to take the band in a tougher rock direction he felt the band (if there was to be one again) should sit. Playing the songs to new recruits, the band quickly got back to playing live and recording their latest EP .
The finished result is 'The Real Thing'. Showcasing their love of all things Glam, Punk, Garage, Rock and Indie, it stomps right out of the gate unashamedly wearing their influences on their guitar strings .
