The Skypainters

When we were kids we dreamed of inventing a time machine. Are there moments in your life in which you would like to stop time and stay with them longer? And time cannot be stopped, just like the endlessly changing sky. But music… music can save moments, feelings and and transfer them through the centuries.

The Skypainters - is our time machine. We paint the moments of our life with musical language, just as an artist paints the sky in order to capture its momentary state. And performing our music on stage we’re traveling in time.

Our music can be described as a unique fusion of modern jazz, elements of classical music and opera tradition coming together, creating one entity.

“The Skypainters” band has been painting the music since 2017. The band led by Kirill Dumchenko (composer, arranger, guitar player), based in Groningen, The Netherlands.
