The Slugpuppies are an Alternative Rock outfit with smatterings of classic country and heavy riffs. They have been playing in the Dallas area for the past few years honing their sound and stage. Their first album "EmoTherapy" came out in 2008 and since that time they have refined their songwriting as well as musical direction. With all original material and careful attention to both song and part writing The Slugpuppies present as a musical experience all their own, including a stage show to match. With the 2022 release of "Keys to Heaven" they have made their foray into roots-rock with their own distinctive eclectic flair.
