The Smoky Dunes are a local Wilmington duo comprised of guitarists Drew Walker and Marshall Brown. They have immersed themselves in the traditional styles of acoustic fingerpicking and flatpicking and call on tunes from the many musical tributaries of Appalachian folk music. They’re sure to bring those high lonesome harmonies, flatpicking standards, and finger bustin' Merle Travis tunes, but also offer original songs off their debut self-title EP.
