Singer & Songwriter; The Sober Junkie is a Choctaw/Cherokee Descendant from his mother Delores (whom is also a descendant Chcotaw/Cherokee from her father's bloodline “Hill family of Oklahoma) also from his parent(s); English, Irish, German/Jewish with gypsy roots. The Sober Junkie aka Chris Buechner's descendant bloodline is important to him, by reconnecting to his roots through music, healing, recovery, spiritual and traditional knowledge.

The Sober Junkie has been at his craft as a talented musician, since he became clean and sober. While maintaining a career in the music industry, he is also in a committed relationship, to his lovely spouse @Neechi.Bee “Unapologetically Indigenous” whom is an established Indigenous business woman, up-coming Matriarch/traditional vocal artist, and Tiktok social media influencer. The Sober Junkie is currently raising his children, from a former marital relationship. To pursue his music career, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for over 9 years and now resides as of May 2023 on the Pacific Northwest of Washington state.
