As is perhaps obvious, the Soul Bros are a group of San Francisco-based musicians who wholeheartedly believe in the power of soul music. Led by Tom Donald, they’ve lived their lives dedicated to the idea that soul music can heal the sick and make everyone else jump for joy. Or at least, gyrate for glee. Years ago, while visiting the Stax/Volt museum in Memphis, when Tom caught sight of Booker T’s Hammond B3, when he managed to touch Duck Dunn’s original PBass, well, suffice it to say his life was never the same. And the Soul Bros were born.
