The Soul Immigrants are a 4 piece funk & soul band from London.

Some bands you can always recognise ; they produce the same sound, even the same song, year after year. But good musicians and songwriters don’t just keep playing, they constantly evolve. That's true about this band whose recent slew of singles have been through the gamut of tough funk (Yard Of Hard Ft Fred Wesley) deep soul, with their explosive cover of Barbara Lynne's ('I'm A Good Woman') and now with this,a soul jazz gem, 'Back From The Brink' (Harder Than You Think) This souped up, revamped version, marks a maturation point between artist and producer Kraznet Montpelier shedding the old and moving boldly forward, both sonically and lyrically.

"I'd like to to think it offers a beacon of hope and positivity in these strange, unprecedented times" Baird says “From the beginning, music has been a way to express ourselves, and to open up and tackle the major issues in our lives, music is my salvation as well as many others". 'Brink' is a strong effort, showcasing the knack at creating dynamic, vibrant and memorable music which carries well as a stand alone single.
