Based in Cardiff, Wales, The State are an upcoming indie-rock band combining the vintage sounds of rock and roll with the rhythmic melodies of the folk-rock era, to create the sound of 'The State'. With their new single they hope to "Bring the old sound to the new" And reinvigorate the rock movement altogether. Inspired by the punks of the 70's, and the mellow harmonies of the likes of Simon & Garfunkel as well as Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, they prove to bring the idea of rock back to its roots, with soaring guitar solos and timeless vocals, to create the sound of 'The State'.
