The Sullivans: a sonic wall of guitar rock, the border’s response to every act to have come out of Britain since the 90’s. Easy-to-listen-to melodies that will make you want to get your lighters out, carried by a hard driving rhythm that keeps just enough edge.
The Sullivans have been playing in both Juarez Mexico and El Paso, TX for almost a decade emerging with the aspiration to do more than than any other band, and the years have not gone by in vain: The Sullivans are accomplished songwriters and arrangers, and they perform as a unit.
They produced their first record in 2008, ‘Listen, Like I Love’. A collection of love songs, it introduced them to their local scene. But their most accomplished work would come in 2012 with the first volume of ‘I Was, Silvanus Thel’, an album in two parts, with the second volume released in summer of 2014.
The new album Titled "Magnetic Gun" recorded in the legendary Sonic Ranch Studios by Charles Godfrey and in NorOriental Studios by producer Omar Villezcas is a grittier album that pulsates with rhythm and hooks that stick to the top of your brain. Their continued evolution brings them to prove Guitar bands are here to stay and remind the world why music is the best inspiration for the mind.
