The Sum was born on South Clerk Street, nurtured on its balcony and has been the source of boundless joy for its members. The partnership of Emile Faure and Euan McDonnell unlocked songs which had been written years prior and were simply waiting for a voice and spirit.
From the beginning The Sum has been collaborative in nature with appearances from Insider Trading's Cameron Bilsland and the talented Sophie Burton on saxophone. This momentum is now carried forward with Faure the younger, Louis, providing fresh creative input which will be seen very shortly in the form of a new release!
