The Sweeps are a 4-piece indie/alt band local to the Santa Barbara area who got their start playing house shows in Isla Vista, close to UCSB. They've gained traction by playing covers and originals inspired by artists like The Backseat Lovers and Peach Pit. Them living in their small condensed beach town with a big surf culture has contributed to their artistry. The Sweeps aim to bring the raw emotion of their music to the stage and have that same energy reflected live.
