The Sweetheartz of The Psychic Rodeo are a Brooklyn NY based Psychedelic Rock outfit featuring singer/songwriters Brady Oh (Vocals, Piano) and Jesse Lent (Vocals, Guitar).
Both Brady and Jesse were already veterans of the Brooklyn rock scene, having both fronted various psychedelic, punk and alternative bands prior to forming The Sweetheartz - though nothing quite like this new outing. There was something fresh and unique about the way they shared the stage, neither of them pressing for the spotlight or hogging the mic but instead each enhancing the other’s performance.
It’s clear that Jesse and Brady’s voices were made to go together. It’s as if they had that same yin-yang that made even a casual observer wonder if these guys (both of Irish and Scottish heritage) shared some not-too-distant relatives back in the old country. Every time they sat down to write a song, the melodies and harmonies flowed like lava and blended like they were brothers. The whole was always substantially greater than the sum of its parts.
