Based out of the Quad Cities Area, The Textures are a six-piece band including Kelsey Lillion [Vocals], Justin Behn [Guitar], Ben Kays [Guitar], Justin "Fish" Fisher [Bass], Logan "Frog" Farber [Keyboards], and Kyle Goldsmith [Drums].
Their sound can be described as a convergence of different influences, hearkening back to the eras of psychedelia, funk, disco, rock n' roll, soul, and much more. The band's mission is to craft diverse songs, both written and improvisational, which break the boundaries that separate musical genres.
The 2020 release of their debut album, Self Textured, gave the group a taste for sharing their original music, and now they are back at it, with the release of their second studio album, Shapes and Colors, in May 2022, all while gearing up for another summer of live performances!
