The Tic Tac

The Tic Tac 於 2008 年組成，曲風以 Fuzz Pop 為主幹，融合 Indie Pop 的元素並添加大量破音效果，音樂作品呈現出如底片般，帶有毛邊與粒子的質地。歌曲創作從自身視角出發，以觀察者的角度記錄、詮釋著生活中的種種樣態，像是透過鏡頭與膠捲，捕捉了片段的真實，以及對事件的想像、投射，帶著觀點描繪這個世界。

2015 年底發行首張專輯《正常的生活》，入圍金音創作獎最佳新人、最佳樂團。2017 年獲新北市貢寮國際海洋音樂祭最佳人氣獎，陸續受邀於加拿大 CMW (Canadian Music Week) 、澳門塔石藝術節、大港開唱、笑傲搖滾等海內外音樂節演出。2022 年推出專輯《正常人的條件》，持續地在作品中，觀察並挖掘城市裡不同角色間各自的生活詩篇，並以單曲〈浪潮〉入圍金音獎最佳搖滾歌曲。


The Tic Tac is a "Fuzz Pop" band from Taiwan, initially formed in 2008. Known for their ability to blend folk sections with bursts of massive guitar distortions, the band has continued to experiment with different instruments and effects pedals, exploring sounds that are unexpected to listeners.

Their music is characteristic of various sub-genres including folk, rock, and indie pop. The Tic Tac tends to draw attention by moving through dynamics with agility, and the use of polyrhythm, sharing a similar concept and style with bands like Bon Iver, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Bright Eyes.

Their first album “Regular” was released in 2015, earning the band two Golden Indie Music Award nominations and widespread acclaim within the Taiwanese indie scene. In 2022, they released their second album “Under Normal Operation” and was nominated again for Golden Indie Music Award with the single “Wave.”
